The principle picked on the janitor as he is an easy target and way below the esteemed principle. 

 

The reality is the old knackered truck is the responsibility of the school and not any individual.

The breakdown happened while another was driving, why should they not be accused and told to pay. Totally unacceptable action by the Principal, action by his superiors is necessary.

how do you know he's qualified?  Most positions like this are bought, not earned. 

My wife's uncle paid over 1 million baht for his position as a principle, granted that was 12-13 years ago, but it's still very common.
