BBC Accused of Bias in Israel-Hamas Coverage: Over 1,500 Breaches of Guidelines
I could care less about the middle east in general, but if I was going to support any country there it would be the only one with a functioning democracy. I noticed in London over the weekend there was a massive demonstration in support of Afghanistani women who have had their rights completely stripped away. Oh wait, no it wasn't, it was just another Hamas supporting anti-jew hate march. Literally nobody cares about any suffering in the entire region of the middle east unless it is perceived that the jews can be blamed for it in some way. -

Must Read Its Happening - Law to Tax Overseas Income Now in Progress
So if I stay here 180 days a year, I am classed as Thai resident and they will tax my worldwide income. So what about the fact that I stay in the UK for 185 days of that same year, which makes me a resident there, and the UK taxes my Worldwide income. Ths is all b.s., and Im not playing. already done my planning, I will not stay in Thailand more than 179 days a year. Even if they dont bring in this stupid rule.............my patience is exhausted now with their rules changing all the bloody time -

Article 7 of Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 EU Regulation 261/2004 entitles you to monetary compensation for flight delays over three hours as long as the delay was not caused by what the EU261 classes as an 'extraordinary circumstance'. In this case they are entitled to the maximum of 600 euros as the flight was more than 3500km (assuming they were travelling to Thailand). It only applies for flights that originate or arrive in the EU. -

Israel Hamas War the Widening Middle East Conflict
It takes time to get responsible parties. How long did it take the US government to get the people responsible for attacking the US mission in Beirut in the 1980's? How long did it take to get Osama bin Laden? It isn't an easy task to get someone when they are hiding out in countries which go to great lengths to protect such people. (Hello Pakistan, Qatar, Turkey, Iran). Much of the world enables terrorism for fear that if they don't kowtow they will be targeted. -

Musk the useful idiot
But someone, the Ministry of Truth perhaps, has to decide who gets prosecuted. And what is a clear cut truth/fact? The Earth is not flat, but neither is it round. Should people claiming the Earth is round be allowed to speak, while people claiming it is flat are silenced? -

PM suspected of Trying to Erase Evidence Related to Thaksin's Hospital Stay
Yes, but when stooges (Senators) put in place by the Junta decide the election, it's not even remotely fair to the voters. -

Musk the useful idiot
I'm old enough to remember when X was Twitter and was owned by censorious leftists. When anyone who was not far left were complaining about being censored all the lefties would cry out: "It's a private company - they can do whatever they want and if you don't like it start your own platform". Then Musk bought a platform and allowed people on the left and the right to share their views. Now the tedious left are complaining. Quelle surprise.
