At 11.30 on Monday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Wirawoot from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Community Pharmacy located at the front of Soi 11 on the Central Pattaya road to investigate a suspected robbery. He was met at the scene by the owner of the shop; Khun Pojaman aged 26 who explained that a Thai Man thought to be aged around 30 entered the shop and ordered 30 packets of Vitamin C and a variety of other tablets including Paracetamol. The man requested the staff inside the shop to prepare his order as quick as possible as he was parked illegally outside the shop and was afraid that Police would issue him with a fine.

As Khun Pojaman and another assistant prepared his order, the man sat down near the cash register. The tablets were handed over in exchange for some money and the man left the shop. Moments later, Khun Pojaman realized that a bag containing the takings from the shop had been stolen from a cabinet which she thought was locked. The bag contained 8,000 Baht in cash, 5 Bank Books and 3,000 Baht’s worth of Government Savings Bank Lottery Tickets. A full description of the suspected thief was given to Police, however the car driven by the suspect was not seen, leaving Police with the hard task of locating the suspect.
