Australia to recognise Palestinian state in September
Kneejerk response. Can't you see what is going on? Only a shill would defend the indefensible. -

Report Pattaya Cracks Down on Rogue Beach Operators and Vendors
I hate beach chairs, and never have and never will pay for one, but I have to accept the fact that heaps of people love them. These sections of chairs, seldom fully occupied , are partly responsible for the crowding on the free stretches of beach, and most people on a packed free stretch would clearly like a bit more room. Europeans really love their all too short summers, which I think does give a lively atmosphere on the beach promenades, despite the unwelcome crowding on the beaches themselves. -

An Operating Manual for Understanding the Thai Mind
Telling you to 'try again' is not feedback. It is merely notifying you that your essay was unacceptable, but doesn't explain why. Productive feedback would be the teacher showing you where you made mistakes, and offering suggestions as to how you might improve the essay. -

UK Flat – Sell or Keep Renting? Expats Who’ve Been There – What Did You Do?
I’ve never tried Swift yet—just need to find some time to give it a go. I seem to be a bit obsessed with ASM and low-level stuff, probably thanks to my cybersecurity background. Beresfords are pretty good overall, though it was a bit irritating that the manager didn’t know what a CP12 was despite working there for over 10 years. Another staff member would always say they’re more expensive than other letting agents but couldn’t justify why. They are the premium option though, and definitely better than others. I used to go to the one opposite them across the road—now a nail salon—but they charged 18% including VAT, were lazy, and overpriced. We parted ways after around four years. I’m behind the station on the Marconi side. Never tried Siam Cottage, but I imagine it was a great experience. I did try the Thai restaurant (no longer there) next to Back Inn Time. It’s surprising how many people prefer Indian restaurants—usually Bengali-run (except for Popadams, which is gone now; the one under the railway arch was authentic Kashmiri)—over Thai food. The Original Plough was our second stop and the penultimate one. First was the Railway Tavern, then all over town, back to the Original Plough, and finally finishing at the Railway Tavern. Being academics, we started early! -

UK UK Crime Crisis: Over 80% of Cases Unsolved
How can they be solved when the police do not investigate? Too busy scrolling X for "hate" i.e. people disagreeing with left wing policies.
