The victim was abducted in place of her younger sister and was taken hostage by the gang, who demanded a ransom of 170,000 baht. Police Arrest 3 Drug Couriers with 45kg of Ice, 600,000 Meth Pills

In the evening of September 9, police officers led by Pol. Maj. Gen. Worawit Yanajinda arrested three young drug couriers involved in trafficking methamphetamine and crystal meth (ice) into Bangkok. The suspects, identified as Mr. Nan (30), Mrs. Wannipa (28), and Ms. Jittrawi, also known as "Poo" (29), were apprehended with 600,000 meth pills and 45 kilograms of ice.
