Planning to take relatives to see monkeys.  Are there any left after government takedown?

Don't know about Lopburi but if you want monkeys, come to Prachuap Khiri Khan( the city) where there are literally 100's an 100's of monkeys swarming all around monkey mountain and the surrounding roads.I f you visit now there is a big festival going on until Sept 23, 2024. But if it is monkeys you want they are in Prachuap Khiri Khan in HUGE numbers.

There are still thousands of monkeys in Lopburi, but does this look like a fine family outing?  Awful creatures. 

 

 

Yeah it does seem kind of questionable.  It's the same path as my wife's grandson's home where we need to drop him after.  I think we will go to Khao Yai instead and visit the park.

Lots a month ago, a real pain in the butt.
