Chrome Version 130.0.6723.59 (Official Build) (x86_64) on a Mac.

 

When searching YouTube with with Voice , Microphone is on , and when I talk it acknowledges what I am saying but it will not insert it into the search box.

Reboot done , cache cleared.

Any suggestions please.

Use a keyboard and don't let Google/Youtube/NSA listen to everything you say !!!   no joking

Make sure you click on the search box first.  Then hit the mic button.  That might help.

Try another browser. Firefox, perhaps?
