Do Australians MIND that they do not have a vote?

Recommended Posts

Dear Aussie Folks:

I feel sorry for you because....you have no vote.

You are like SECOND-CLASS citizens...or...more apropos of your history....you are like USA prisoners in USA prisons....

Without a vote.

Yes, my friends, from DOWN UNDER....

We know you would LOVE to vote in the USA presidential election this November 5th...BUT....America does not allow you to vote.

Do you feel left out?

Just like those locked up in USA prisons?

Harris wants to give Australians the vote in the USA....as you know.

Just like she wishes Americans in American prisons could vote, too.

Here is a video which explains this issue, lucidly:

I have, in the past, had a few Aussie friends.

Mostly, they think the same way as I, about most important Topics.

If I had my way, and if I were Prez, the first thing I would do would be to give Aussies the vote, in America.

Also, why do so many Aussies want to leave Australia and come to Thailand, I do wonder.

IF only I were Australian, then I would just lie on the beach, soak up the sun, and drink SUDS all day....

What do they call a case of beer in Australia....?

They call it a SLAB of Beer, or something.

I do not understand this terminology.

Why a SLAB and not a CASE of beer....

Anyone know?

Best regards,

Gamma

Why just allow Australia to vote? Just a potential of 17 million eligable votes possible anyway.

Bring in the whole western world to vote on who governs USA as the country is so important to us all.

That could break the dead lock between the two parties .

You are welcome to several of the ethnic groups in our multicultural society. They seem to excel mostly at criminality.

I've got the OP posts blocked but is there any way to block his threads as well so I don't have to constantly see his dribble clogging up the Pub sub-forum where he seems to live?

Wish it was like a real pub where political discussion is banned and loud obnoxious people always trying to be the centre of attention are quickly encouraged to piss off 😉

Americans should not be allowed to vote for US President anymore. Leave it up to a vote of the Ambassadors of the United Nations in total. Any tie to be decided by the unanimous decision of the Secretary General.

I'm guessing you're another typical American overseas who always has to be the loudest person in the bar because you think the World revolves around the USA and you want everyone to know it

This whole thread is moronic and just another way to talk politics outside the political soapbox thread

Our last mass shooting was almost 30 years ago. Unlike Americans, we saw sense.

Nowt wrong with some populace culling.

US should have an annual purge.

This is not a test.

This is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government.

Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge.

All other weapons are restricted.

Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed.

Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours.

Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. when The Purge concludes.

Blessed be our New Founding Fathers and America, a nation reborn.

May God be with you all

Let me help you out. It's estimated 20% of Australians have convict ancestry.

I guess dumb posts from drunks propping up bar stools at 9 am are only to be expected on threads like these.

Would you believe that I have not set foot in a Thailand bar in over a decade, since I first arrived, this visit?

It's true.
