Trump Election Syndrome.

Recovery of being mentally demoralized takes some time for some. Perhaps in the future being mentally prepared and investing emotions in politics will keep them on top of their game.

Not sure about the OP's thought that forum is now 'quiet'.  A bunch of new threads, of 'what if' and what the lefties' prediction of pending policies and doom that with follow when Trump takes over the office.

 

Damn good crystal balls they have.  All BS of course.  All things they predict, he didn't do last administration.

 

So go figure 

In the last few days it has really sunk in to me how massive Trump's victory was. It could change the political direction of not only the US but Europe as well. Liberalism has been rejected despite huge MSM support. 

 

This could be the straw that broke the Woke camel. Everyone is sick of the gaslighting and insults. Nazi this Fascist that. It doesn't work.

 

I suspect they are realising this as well. 

 

Also I suspect some posters are "professional" posters and now the battle has been lost the work has dried up. Not fault of the forum but sometimes the sludge slips through the cracks. 

 

Some notable posters are either very quiet or disappeared. Great times.

I rationalize that a few of them must be getting paid, not only is their ideology wrong but they will fight to the death for it here like it will make a difference

At long as Trump fails to meet their doom and gloom predictions these posters will have little to write about.

Worry not they will soon be back moaning about everything Trump does. If he solved world poverty they would be crying that it took him too long.  Last time he was called out for not banning flights from China in the covid crisis and not protecting the USA, when he did a few weeks later they were calling him a racist.

Yes. One particular poster stands out. Always has to have the last word even when they are clearly wrong.

 

I am not sure if that's because they are a wfh professional poster or because they are an ageing liberal American woman with a chip on their shoulder.

Majority of actual US voters have chosen to ignore trump's ethical and moral flaw and expect him to further improve the economy and address immigrant issues. So be it, have to see what difference a trump government makes to their quality of life, together whether Project 25 is implemented. If Americans don't care if an an authoritarian government comes to the fore; on your heads. You will note all the alarm bells concerning Harris supporter violence has not occurred, nor the whining about Stolen Election blah, blah.

Thanks for the link which clearly outlines an authoritarian agenda. trump is a proven liar and provider of misinformation each and every day. GOP certainly tried very hard to or did block Obama and Biden Administration legislation. It seems trump is heading to total power, including control of the Judicial processes, so you're OK. If I'm still alive will be interesting to see how the US ends up after four years of trump. I have a strong suspicion not in a good place for a democratic society or indeed for other Western societies.

Oh...we absolutely care if an authoritarian government takes over. Which is exactly why we elected Trump.

 

But you're correct we don't care about minor details of Trump's personality. What you are witnessing is not about Trump, despite how the legacy media and radical left want it to appear. If you think it is about Trump, get out of your echo chamber.

 

This is about rebelling against the WEF/globalist criminal syndicate that has tyrannized the USA for decades, just like mafias used to hold cities like NY and Chicago hostage back in the early 20th.  They own corrupt politicians, judges, police, big corporations, and of course, the media.
