Im sure you did, but as we all know, it can and does vary across the country. There rarely is a "One size fits all".

I drive the vehicle to the testing station.

Present the registration book (blue or green).

Absolutely the only document I need.

Tell them to take care for the whole thing.

When testing completed I pay the tax and compulsory insurance. Can drive away and come back an hour later or so and pick up updated book and sticker.
