Envious? Majority of the Apple users think they are a cut above others, just for the simple reason that the Apple stuff is expensive! I wouldn't touch an Apple with a barge pole even if given free! 2 1 3

It's just that Apple products are over priced and restrict the user into its own eco-system. Its perfect as a show-off item, but is useless in day-to-day use for someone who likes to 'tinker' with tech stuff. 1 1

And people that know a lot about computers use linux. Edited 1 hour ago by gargamon 1
HappyExpat57 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I have both Apple and Windows. Over time, for all the things I do on a computer, I retired the Apple. It's just easier to get things done, and as a teacher, I don't have the luxury of going against the current. The ONLY thing I ever found that the Apple did that Windows couldn't - I bought an electric piano from China, and I tried every patch to get Windows to recognize it, nothing worked. I plugged it into the Apple and it connected instantly. I think you could plug a toaster into an Apple and it would find a way to associate. I just don't have a need for a digitally connected toaster. 2
Gottfrid Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 14 hours ago, G_Money said: You’re not biased are you? No, we are not biased. We are right. Apple products are only a status symbol of rather high quality. However, they are not compatible with the rest of the systems in the world. Also, they are not used much in data systems more than graphic design and for printing news papers. With Android and Windows you will have much better compatibility and functions connecting to Google, which is the by far biggest search engine in the world. After that, both Windows and Android are far better and more developed than Apple products. What you are talking about is expensive and useless toys compared to reliability and functionality of proven products with a track record. Soo, as a result of that. I got loads of money to spend. However, I would never sink as low, to buy a product just for the status as a show-off toy. And, that´s probably why I have money. 😉 1 1
Popular Post Tropicalevo Posted 1 hour ago Popular Post Posted 1 hour ago Back in the '90 I worked for an IBM agent installing software projects. When PC's first hit the public, both Apple and IBM were pushing them to the customers. Apple's selling spiel back then was 'do not buy IBM PC's, they are propriety. You will be stuck with IBM for life'. They were sell Apple PC's as 'open systems'. They lied back then and they lie now. 2 1 1 2
