Hope Thailand’s not going to introduce anything like that. Not true at melbourne mate. I get through in 2 mins Max

Have rarely, if ever, had a problem with them especially in recent years. My last entrance was very pleasant... the lovely young lady was most smiley apologetic on realising her error when asking how many days I'd be staying, having previously seen that I was on an ext' of stay. When I said 365, it tickled her pink. It was so gratifying that I was nearly tempted to ask for her LINE. I guess it depends who you meet and what kind of day they're having, and if the imm officer finds themself staring at an unkempt, loud, tattooed & ancient wife-beater-wearing whitey. 😋 Well, I'm not a loud, tattooed, etc bloke if that's what you're implying? but I don't think I've met a polite Thai IO yet. So, a lot of them must have bad days and i think a polite one is rare. maybe you're a good looking bloke and that's why you get politeness😆 But us ugly blokes only get IO's who on a good day might not actually snarl at you. 1

Never experienced that, ever. Most of the staff I encounter simply take my passport and point to indicate I need to look at the camera. It is rare for any of them to utter a word, even after I say hello to them. All a bit robotic, but I suppose it's not the most exciting job to have.
