Line App, or a choccolate teapot?
I hear you! I have LINE on my phone, but only because some of my friends insist on using it. Atrocious application design, horrible user experience, no support. I tried to convince my contacts to switch to WhatsApp which is a clearly superior product, but here in Thailand everyone (including farang!) appears to like LINE. Big long sigh... -

FDA requires Covid vaccine makers to expand warning about risk of rare heart inflammation
What we know about the safety, efficacy of mRNA vaccines amid recent scrutiny Vaccines using mRNA technology have been studied for decades, experts say. May 23, 2025 ... "The FDA, in asking the vaccine companies to expand their warning labels, cited “new safety information” -- data from one of the agency’s safety surveillance systems and a study published in October that followed people who developed myocarditis linked to COVID vaccines. [Dr. Peter Chin-Hong, a professor of medicine and infectious disease specialist at the University of California, San Francisco] said the risk of myocarditis is much higher after COVID-19 compared to after vaccination, and that contracting COVID itself is higher. “The risk of COVID is much higher in general. If you look at it, 22 to 31 cases per million [among] 18 to 29 years old as an example,” he said. “At the time when these vaccines are used very often in that group, [myocarditis risk] is 1,500 per million. So, you're talking about 22 to 31 per million versus 1,500 per million.” [emphasis added] https://abcnews.go.com/Health/safety-efficacy-mrna-vaccines-amid-recent-scrutiny/story?id=122068940 -

Trump’s new position on the war in Ukraine: Not my problem
Ditto China, Iran. DPRK, but you never criticise them, and call upon then to stop supporting the Russian war marchine for "some reason". I saw the same during the Cold War; those Soviet apologists, like Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott, John McDonnell and Tahir Ali, constantly excusing the Soviets and always blaming the West. They have natural successors, who instead of tuning into Radio Moscow each night, instead, switch on their VPN, and watch RT because its "the truth". US military hardware is now less important than in 2022; BAE is now independant of US imports of nitroglycerine, through process changes, European production has scaled up, but also Ukrainian industry has increased. Both sides are facing front line shortages, but that seems to be down to not actual production and depot replenishment, but due to logistics. Russian logistics, from their factories in the far east, are degrading. Intelligence is another matter. RAF Rivet Joint patrols (UK version of the RC-135W) continue to supply data to the Ukrainian military, which helps with better targetting. However, even though the data is captured by the RAF, some of it is filtered through the US, as a NATO ally, and then spat back out. The US is at times actively now denying such data to a NATO ally. That doesn't mean the data stops, but it becomes less refined, less precise. -

Grifter Roles Foreigners Fall Into in Thailand
Teacher, digital nomad are not really grifting. It would be very fortunate to be able to work remotely, earn home wages and live in thailand.
