If a fee, it will be noted on the 'website' hosting the show.  I'd go during school and or work hours.  Not after 1600 hr during the week,  and avoid weekends if you don't like crowds.

i’ve never been to the motor expo, but i have been to the motor show (end of march). the entry fee was 100 baht,

and we could park for free in the underground garage. avoid the opening day; it gets too crowded.

 

you can sometimes take short test drives at a nearby test track. the whole experience, including transfer, takes at least 1 hour.

 

the motor expo / motor show is worth a visit ... everything is well organized, and the atmosphere is great. enjoy!
