I had a great conversation with President Donald Trump. We addressed the Mexican strategy on the phenomenon of migration and I shared that caravans are not arriving at the northern border because they are attended to in Mexico.

It's terrific most Americans voted for Trump instead of doing the same thing that never works. We need real leaders, not cup holders.

In our conversation with President Trump, I explained to him the comprehensive strategy that Mexico has followed to address the migration phenomenon, respecting human rights. Thanks to this, migrants and caravans are cared for before they arrive at the border. We reiterate that Mexico's position is not to close borders but to build bridges between governments and between peoples.

Suggest you both look up the numerous media report to see that what I said IS true unlike Trump BS!

Youtube has a number of reports showing both the Mexican President and her letter.

No need for an apology because you are both behind the times and can't handle the truth thats why you are Trumpists.

Sooooo, you can't prove your case ( it's not up to me to do your job for you ), so I'll assume it's BS.

Woe Canada!  Woke... and corrupt it seems.

In other news, Justin Trudeau visits Mar-a-Lago, meets with Trump...no phone call needed.

So, in summation, Trump has posted fake news on his own social media platform.

You have not proven it's fake news. Nor has anyone else.

This despite the Mexican President already confirming that they're not going to close the border as alleged.

But it's OK @thaibeachlovers, you just carry on believing what you want as, in the grand scheme of things, it is all quite irrelevant.

I doubt any of our words on here are going to change world events, so do I need to say that your opinions are as irrelevant as mine?

No, but you would just love that to be the case

So who is telling the truth, him or her?

If that is true, she is a brave woman as he can tariff her administration into oblivion.

Lets see if she is serious about it. There is a huge caravan that began a week ago trying to get into the US before Trump takes office. If she stops them then we will know if she is serious or not.

About 1,500 migrants form new caravan in Mexico

looks like Trump got Mexico in line... They are breaking up the caravans to the US already...

Way to go Trump.

You sure about that?

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/canadas-trudeau-says-had-excellent-155750017.html

After the leaders’ hastily arranged dinner Friday night at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, Trudeau spoke of “an excellent conversation" and said in a post later Saturday on X, accompanied by a photo of the two men seated a table and smiling, that he looked forward to “the work we can do together, again.” Trump said earlier on Truth Social that they discussed “many important topics that will require both Countries to work together to address.”

Trudeau called Trump after the Republican's social media posts about the tariffs last Monday and they agreed to meet, according to a official familiar with the matter who was not authorized to publicly discuss detail of the private talks. The official said other countries are calling Canadian officials to hear how about how the meeting was arranged and to ask for advice.

Let's see now,

"The first of the caravans started out from the southern Mexico city of Tapachula, near the border with Guatemala, on November 5, the day Trump was elected. At its height it had about 2,500 people. In almost four weeks of walking, it had gone about 270 miles (430 kilometers) to Tehuantepec in the state of Oaxaca.

In Tehuantepec, Mexican immigration officials offered the tired migrants free bus rides to other cities in southern or central Mexico. ...

The second caravan of about 1,500 migrants set out on November 20 and made it about 140 miles (225 kilometers) to the town of Tonala, in Chiapas state. There, authorities offered a sort of transit visa that allows travel across Mexico for 20 days. ...

Apart from the much larger first caravans in 2018 and 2019 — which were provided buses to ride part of the way north — no caravan has ever reached the U.S. border walking or hitchhiking in any cohesive way, though some individual members have made it. "

Way to go Donald, you've "stopped" something that hasn't been a threat since 2019. Now, stop being silly and go and finish that big beautiful wall of yours. You know it makes sense to someone.

Typical Trumpette, they were never ever near the border. They're still in Mexico, they're still coming and Trump has stopped nothing.

Anyway, I am not a Dem, typical or otherwise.

Blind flailing?

I just don't believe anything criticizing Trump without some reliable proof, as the opposition have told so many porkies that if they were actual pigs they could feed the planet.

You seem unaware that illegals have actually been crossing the border in large numbers the past 4 years, and never seen the camps in border towns.

I guess you think Biden was actually trying to keep them out. :whistling:
