Hi there, I've been using Lazada in recent years without any problems. My phone number has changed in the last few days, so now I can't get SMS security messages. I never changed it, so now I need to know is it possible to access my account so that I can to update my real phone number. Thanks.

Create a new account.

 

I had a different problem. Same phone number, different address. Even though I updated the address in Lazada, they kept delivering to the old one. The package had the right address on it, but it went to the old address anyway.

 

So the easy answer is to create a new account anytime anything changes.

The app allows you to change phone number.  It will require verification but it appears it can be done by email.

Here's where I'm at with this problem. Firstly my phone number was changed without my consent. There have been suggestions that I should open a new account. That's well and good but the security SMS messages would be sent to that phone number and not to my real phone number. So I'm stuck in limbo here.

I'm still stuck here with this problem. Is there anyway I can by pass the security verification? If so I can edit my phone number and I'll be back in business.

If your Lazada phone number was changed without your consent, I'd suggest your first priority be to close the account. 

 

No telling what someone's been buying (and approving by SMS) on your account.

 

Then I'd check your bank account(s) to see if they got more personal information the same time they got your Lazada credentials.

 

Similar problem. 

 

Opened my Lazada account using my wife's number......then closed it and opened a new account when i got my own phone, but she still gets messages from Lazada for everything I buy.....which is no biggy.....but I've given up trying to have her number taken off my new account.

Do you want to amend your number using the app or the website?

 

It's easy to do on either.
