USA ‘The Trump Effect’: Border Crossings Hit Record Low Amid Tough Immigration Stance
Amazing A thread about Trump has only garnered 22 comments in over 24 hours. Must be some sort of record. Just like the record number of illegals reportedly fleeing the US and the record fall in number of illegals trying to get into the US. -

Trump has abandoned the Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump, while lifting sanctions against Syria, "accidentally" removed certain Russian institutions, banks, and individuals from the sanctions list. What do locals think of foreigners living in rural parts of Thailand on very modest budgets?
If I was in the United States and the "low-life foreigners who cannot speak my native language" but are in the country on a visa and living there legally? I could care less. It's their life, not mine. I wish them success. If they are living there illegally? I hope they get deported. Not one bit different than here in Thailand. Perhaps you don't like "low life foreigners who cannot speak your native language living near you" in your own home country, but I'm not a racist. If foreigners are in my country legally - I wish them the best in their "pursuit of happiness." And what nationalistic, xenophobic, ethnocentric Thais think of me? Seriously, I really don't care, although I get along fine with the majority of villagers here. What they think of me? That's there business, and as I said, "I don't care." Reality? Even a farang who would be living on the streets in their home country, but can afford to live here, is solidly "middle class" by Thai standards. You may look down your snooty noses at them, but they are economically equal or above their Thai neighbors.
