GammaGlobulin Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Dear Folks, How much might it cost to send a pea from NYC to Thailand….via…UPS? Anyone know? Personally, I think it might cost about…..USD160.00, or even more! Why is this? Has anyone had very bad experiences with UPS during the past years, or even more than almost a decade ago? Why is this? Also, has UPS changed, as a company, from what it once was….many decades ago? And, if so, then why is this? Would you use UPS? And, if so, then why? So many questions, and so few good answers concerning why our world has so radically changed….from the good world we once knew….when we were younger. Any good answers? Because, good answers might be welcome…these days. Best regards, Gamma Note1: Here is the story of the UPS and the Pea..... Note2: Here is the song about....decades ago, when we were younger, we would not need to pay USD170 to send a pea from NYC to Thailand....when we were younger.... So, then.... Do you Pee S? Gamma 2

Just answering.......
KannikaP Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I think GG was comparing the WEIGHT of a pea with that of a Credit Card, hence the very misleading Headline. You wouldn't need much insurance on said Pea, but a lot more for the C Card. But I have had many 'Peas' posted to me privately from UK for next to nothing, and have arrived safely in about a week.
GammaGlobulin Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 3 minutes ago, Ralf001 said: A: Your welcome. B: Nope. Just answering....... OK....then.... Anyone on TV can easily go onto the UPeeS website and plug in the data ....of.... Shipper location Delivery location And 1 pound weight Plus 10 inch square by one inch thick package dimension. THEN...you will get a quote of over USD160.00. So, the question still stands..... Does anyone here.... U PEE S? 1

The value of a credit card is ZERO, until it is authenticated, on line, by the card issuer. Anyway..... If you go onto the UPS website, you will see that the quote of over USD 160 has NOTHING to do with the value of the package.... Just try it if you do not believe me. 1

Easy, as he showed in his post, 0-2.5oz is billable as 1lb.
GammaGlobulin Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 Does UPS Worldwide Expedited service reach you in 2 - 5 business days? Not according to my experience. So far, the shipment has not been received....not that it seems to matter much to You Pee S. And, by the way...I just wonder who the major investors of this company might be.....? BLACKROCK? So then....would you love to support BLACKROCK?

The headline was not intended to be misleading in any way. In fact, the question is: What would it cost to send a pea from NYC to Thailand, via UPS. This is the question, actually.

Just go onto the UPS website and you will get an immediate quote after you plug in your data about shipper and receiver locations. What....? You want I give you the URL? OK... I will: https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_TH&requester=ST/ But, if you do not have time: These are the real costs: If you want to ship a credit card...or...presumably....a pea. ALSO...please read the OP.... And answer the questions posed. There is no way to include the entire content of the OP in the headline, as even you might realize....

A PEA via UPS from New York? Or was it an Uninterrupted Power Supply from the Provincial Electricity Authority? 1

I know, but these days it should be in metric. However if UPS in USA say that their minimum is 1 lb = 500 gms, it would possibly be 1 kg going the other way.
