Of course, one way of preserving the Guardian is for the entire staff to exceed the bid price, buy the Guardian and run it themselves.

If they succeed then good for them.

If they fail and go bankrupt, tough. They can always ask their fellow journalists for financial help.

It is called, putting your money where your mouth is.

They are Lefties , they wouldn't pay for it themselves, they will try and get someone else to pay for it

They are running out of other people's money.

If I'm one of their top readers globally, having clicked on a few of the Wokies links on this forum then I can see why they have problems. 😃

I have just done about ten random web searches and every research results m the Guardian came up as the first and top result .

Random web searches from Cricket, Martians, Mike Tyson and the first result was always a Guardian link to something .

   Why is that happening ?

Maybe they should change the name to Googlardian ?

I found the same thing looking for a Hunter Biden story about his long history of delinquency. I typed a very specific phrase as I remembered the headline from the first time I read it and eventually I found it buried on page 3 of Google search results after a load of sympathetic stories about him from the likes of The Guardian, CNN etc.

Let's hope Musk's search engine is fully functional soon so we can get some real results, not leftie biased opinion pieces.

Guardian back on strike for another 2 days  :violin:

The strike means that readers may notice some differences to the Guardian’s website on Thursday and Friday and in the print edition on Friday and Saturday.

Due to deadlines, some of the stories that appear on the website and in the newspaper on those days will not have been written on the day in question. In other cases, anonymous bylines may be used.

Sympathies to any Guardian readers on AN
