Very informative, his statement at the end is wrong, I think Thailand is the most attractive country for China to sell EV's, the UK maybe comes second because it still has tariffs albeit a lot smaller than the EU and US.

but more profit for Byd cars in the UK seal cars sell for between B1.9 million - B2.1 million

even when you take off the 10% tarrifs and the additional shipping costs more profit selling to the UK than Thailand

Maybe but not necessarily so. Maintaining a dealer network in the UK must surely cost much, much more than in Thailand. Think overheads (rent, salaries, utilities), insurances, consumer protection etc etc.

Most Brands tend to operate their dealer network through existing franchises rather than their own dealer network yes they will own a couple of showrooms themselves
