Still love your Country?
Don't agree with you I could not afford health insurance in Thailand where I live I get it for free, I am paying rent but have not have an increase for about 8 Years doctors visit and hospital free as well. Don't have a car anymore my wife drives her new car and drops me of at the shops I still go to Thailand twice or 3 times a year and I am a pensioner and have no super anymore. I don't shop at Woolworth I go to Aldi which is dirt-cheap I spend my time in Thailand but went back home a few years ago since I could not afford health insurance btw I am not American I live in OZ. -

Agreed entirely. The only thing I'd question is why a 50 year old man who drives for a living can't decide for himself to obey rules, police or no police. There are always people making excuses or comparisons for these scumbags. I wouldn't lose sleep if one of them was made an example of and never saw the light of day again. -

Frustrated with Thai Immigration - 90 day online report frustrations
Hahaha - well done Dr Jack. Ok, got to say - I HATE frustration lol. To be fair, when I went in person with my lovely wife after the earlier refusal we rolled up at 8.30, it seemed the entire population of Myanmar, China, the UK, the US etc were already there. . I hunted for somewhere to sit waiting for my wife who was busy bribing an officer outside (no no, I didn't say that - honest) who let her park outside the entrance bless him. She came in to see this vast multitude and me sitting leaning on my walking stick, we walked to the entrance to the offices and by then I knew I'd never last out the waiting but the security officer saw me struggling and told us to come in immediately. We walked through, found the appropriate window to queue up at, only one Indian family and another farang in front, massive queues at the other windows. I presented my papers and my wife said why I was there and I got given a disabled card, an I.O officer came and led us off. It seems using a walking stick, plus being 79 are grounds for compassion - good because my hips and knees were killing me. So when I say I hate Immigration it was not my experience in person but their utterly crappy useless computer system the still needs a rain forest of paper and an online system that also needs some experienced hands to correct it's flaws. The people I met were lovely and I cannot praise them enough. -

Are all gentle bends in roads black-spots then ??... Or just the ones drunk drivers / riders crash on ? You're so intent on making this a road engineering issue that you can't see the obvious - when drunk drivers and idiots going too fast or fall asleep and crash... its not the roads fault. Drunk drivers also crash in to other things so... You 'could' engineer things to make it safer.... put padding on the side of all roads, only have traffic travelling in one direction (to avoid head on accidents), have run off areas... of course, all rather daft when 100,000's of people navigate these roads without issue until smashed out of their heads. Strange that ?... what about the rest of the year ? - the road is not a black spot then ?... less drunk drivers / riders... I bet the accidents spike at Songkran time too (though most will have left to have their drunk accidents in their home towns). -

Is it starting?
It's common knowledge all over the web if you have been following this war at the proper sources. That sea is shallow and is know to be deadly when certain storm conditions hit but Putin so desperate for oil sales he has all these old ships in his shadow fleet and they got in conditions the ships were not made for. Did you watch the video of the waves before the first ship broke up? Also Russia as of 1 day ago hadn't sent any cleanup help to the shoreline areas it's been all volunteers bagging the thick gunk. Supposedly the oil has penetrated 30-60 cm deep in the sand in some places. -

Untrue. The Russians I have met/argued with about their ongoing illegal invasion have all been in favor of it and their supreme leader, yet they refuse to fight.. Cowardice of the highest order!
