VFS vis agency - devils or angels?
Or mix of both? I am referring to the visa application agency that has contracts (in some cases, monopolies) with Embassies. I find the bureaucracies of most governments to be daunting. I am even more suspicious of their helpers, because it might make it worse (slower, more expensive), not better. It also bugs ne that I have to do civil servants' work for them - filling out forms, making photocopies, etc. I am paying them and I do all the time-consuming inconvenient tasks. There very existence strikes me as over-priced gatekeepers. Anyway, what is your opinion of VFS? -

Thailand Targets Tougher Alcohol Laws to Align with Global Norms
This is no surprise coming from a push biker. Sorry mate, you can eat nuts and drink bottled water but don't give us the holier than thou attitude. Jesus liked a glass of "whine" himself. -

Australian Man Runs Amok, Sets House on Fire, and Smashes Vehicles in Pattaya
Does behavior such as this cause the average landlord to increase rental prices for Farang? If I were a landlord, then maybe I might think twice about offering low rent. Sort of like the horror stories you hear about in the USA with AirBNB renters, periodically. -

What are the drones over New Jersey? foreign spies to Project Blue Beam
If they did shoot down these drones, and if they did find something worrisome, do you think that they would tell you? Also, this is not the first time that UFOs have been treated as classified information. In most cases, when something is very worrisome to the government, their first priority will be to reassure the public through minimizing any possible risk of danger. Also, it's very obvious that the US Air Force already knows EXACTLY what is taking place in the skies over New Jersey. How do we know this? Easy.... The resolution of the most advanced military radars used by the US government is fully capable of resolving any flying object down to, I would imagine, the size of a golf ball from over ten miles, provided that the object is not using stealth technology. The actual resolution data of military radars remains highly classified, I would imagine. But I would say that the newest radars can resolve a golf ball at over 10 miles. So, these drones over New Jersey haven't a hope in hell of staying hidden from the US Air Force, and I am not just talking about NORAD. -

Thailand Targets Tougher Alcohol Laws to Align with Global Norms
So, you've never been to the villages or hung around with younger male working class Thais? Being from the UK, and a family of pub owners, even I was shocked on arriving in Thailand in 2000 by bicycle, from Malaysia. Late afternoon, a group of lads in Narathiwat were drinking at a restaurant. They offered me beer (a no-no when I'm cycling). Then, once arriving in Songkhla, it was party central. Walking by the beach each night, picknicking Thais were offereing me Thai whisky and beer. Few farangs around there in those days. When I married in 2002, in Nakhon Si Thammarat, we had 470 guests (on tables of 10) to our wedding party. Each table insisted that I shared a whisky shot. I tried to politely decline but had to sip more than I cared for. I do not agree with your statement above. -

Thailand Targets Tougher Alcohol Laws to Align with Global Norms
I would like to point out this headline is wrong. With the exception of some muslim and Scandinavian countries Thailand actually has fairly strict laws on the sale of alcohol and as the article suggests a loosening of the laws is required not more restrictions.- 1
