Slippery Road Causes Red Plate Pickup to Veer Off, Injuring Eight Female Workers

A factory worker transport pickup truck skidded off the road on the morning of December 13,  due to slippery conditions, leaving eight female passengers injured. Emergency services rushed to the scene to provide assistance as the driver recounted the moment of the crash.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 06:30 along Suwannasorn Road (Highway 33), inbound to Kabin Buri, near Ban Nong Sana, Moo 5, Bo Thong Subdistrict, Kabin Buri District, Prachinburi Province. Police Lieutenant Wiroj Pheodchanteuk, Deputy Inspector of Wang Takhian Police Station, and rescue teams from the Sajja Buddhatham Foundation of Thailand were dispatched to the scene.

 

At the site, a white Isuzu D-Max pickup truck with red license plates from Bangkok was found crashed into roadside vegetation. The vehicle was transporting female factory workers when the driver lost control. Eight passengers suffered injuries and were heard crying in pain. Rescue volunteers promptly transported the injured to Kabin Buri Hospital for treatment.

 

According to Lieutenant Wiroj, the crash was caused by slippery road conditions. Driver Ms Achara explained that the truck was carrying a total of nine people, including herself, traveling from Khao Chakan District, Sa Kaeo Province. She lost control of the vehicle due to the wet road, leading to the crash and subsequent injuries to her passengers.

 

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.

It was a red plated vehicle (new truck). Probably purchased some time this year.
