It does happen, and ONE time is too often. Yabba = Jail. Selling Yabba, or killing to buy it = the Chop, in my book anyway.

maybe better you move to Singapore or Saudi.

You sound like a complete tyrant.

OK, so it's alright to stab your Granny for Bht 100 to buy Yabba or Ice?

Or to kill a few innocent bystanders by driving 5issed up. Yeh, come on, yes or no.

What would YOUR solution be?

Me? Tyrant? A law abiding, thoughtful human being.

You? Complete nutter!

Better than sounding like a boat mooring device.

I have never taken Yaba nor stabbed my granny.

neither has any Thai that I know.

PROPORTION, KannikaP - Thailand doesn't need any more populist knee-jerk reactions...

obviously the daughter is just a puppet, he's the one calling the shots and ignoring the rules as he was supposed to stay away from politics.... banana republic

It’s obvious that illegal drugs are a problem the world over. It’s becoming worse every day and luring young kids in to the business and or becoming addicts very young. Thailand made a huge mistake in legalizing all these sleazy shops that have opened on every soi corner. It has attracted the worst type of tourists imaginable.
Look at Marseille in France, Paris, Lyon all over. Drug cartels have taken over. Kids of 12 are missing school to work as “ lookouts” for their boss.
2 children were killed lately .  14 yr olds arrested for shooting someone who didn’t pay the goods. There are so many reasons to stop this business. Why work, why study, when you can earn 3 , 5 or more thousands euros a month for 2 or 3 hours of work a day. It’s breaking down families and society as a whole. It’s out of hand.

Weed has never killed anyone. Just for the record.

And stoners, for the most part, are very chilled out.

Kinda comes with the territory of being stoned!

Are you so stupid as to not know that it is not the poor smoker of a few grams a day who are affected by this. It is the 4ucking dealers making millions and employing kids to do the distribution.

I totally agree that no-one has died from weed, I should know, I am still alive. And yes, they are chilled, as I am.

But when it comes to the chemical stuff, Yabba etc, the manufacturers, dealers should be eliminated from the human race. My opinion may not be the same as your, but there it is.

Calm down, Kannika.

If you care so much about the issue then pick up a rifle and head to the Thai-Myanmar border in the north and take on the Red Wa yourself!

I am calm. It's not my job to eliminate this scum. wish I could.

We both agree that a bit of Weed is not harmful, but what would YOU do about the Yabba dealers?

Well you can't.

So stop moaning and just accept that drugs are another facet of society now.

Booze is a drug too. A very deadly one. And it's legal.

Killing/arresting a few thousand dealers on the streets of Thailand isn't going to even put a dent in the transborder drugs trade. It will still continue unabated so what is the point in having another deadly war on drugs, where innocent civilians could potentially get caught up in the crossfire?

Supply & demand trumps all!

Don't just say you have clicked a link!

Trying reading the numerous contents inside those links!

You have not possibly have had time to have read even one paragraph of any of the imbedded links yet!

Do not bother to respond as I most certainly will not!

How do you know if you never tried Weed. Have you drunk alcohol?

Well it's similar but not as dangerous, or cause such hangovers.

But just as dangerous to drive or try to work under its influence.

It's the chemical stuff I am against.
