She should be governor of California to continue its progression into a progressive hellhole. Then, when the economy collapses, the water runs out, the Left and  LBTCSQTRAWED+++/--- grooms all the children unwillingly into a life of perversion, children are ripped out of their parents arms and mutilated, there are blackouts and brownouts, all the taxpayers have gone to Texas and the mob rules the streets, the few folks left will vote republican and bring the place to sanity.

You know, I may be reading too much into it but I am sensing that you may not entirely be in favour of California's political trajectory, much as you have inferred, if one considers your more nuanced offerings, that you have reservations about Kamala Harris herself.

 

I have to say, you don't pose particularly appealing choices for the USA, either the dystopian hellhole you portray for a "progressive governed" California or the Trumpian alternative, which after Trump, Musk and the Project 2025 gang have had their way will probably resemble a cross between the breakfast terrace of the 1980s TV soap "Dallas" and the set of "Bladerunner".

My roommate's thesis was on the Peter Principle. exploring the idea of promoting someone above his/her failed position to see whether he/she would display new competence. So perhaps the Dems should ask her to wait until they could expand the membership of the Supreme Court and then appoint her to it.
