Thailand entry permit?

Hi,

 

Looking to visit LOS for around 2 weeks in February/March next year, coming from UK. I haven't been actively following entry requirements, as my last visit was over 2 years ago. I recall seeing somewhere maybe 6 months back that Thailand was implementing a pre-entry online check (separate from visa requirements), but just viewing the UK embassy website and the E-visa website I can't see any reference to it. Has this requirement now been dropped/abandoned? Can I just get the visa on arrival as I usually do to cover a 2 week stay?

Here is a cut and paste from typical sources....

"As of November 2024, visa-exempt nationals of 93 countries entering Thailand will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for each trip".

 

The ETA is only required for visa exempt entry.

Still in the pipeline.

That will be you as for such a short stay you would enter visa exempt. (it's not visa on arrival it's visa exempt) 

Currently visa exempt provides 60 day stamp.

 

I would keep an eye on things.

It will be simple online thing if/when it's introduced. 

 

If you have an return/onward flight for your visit that will be helpful for airline at departure.
