Mother Faints at Scene of Son’s Tragic Motorcycle Crash on Khlong Khlung Bridge
Picture from responders. A heart-wrenching scene unfolded in Kamphaeng Phet when a mother arrived at the site of her son’s fatal motorcycle crash, only to collapse in grief upon seeing his lifeless body. The incident occurred at 01:10 on January 15, on the Khlong Khlung Bridge, which spans the Ping River in Moo 2, Tha Makuea subdistrict, Khlong Khlung district. Police Lieutenant Chatchanon Sanitmak from Khlong Khlung Police Station, along with local rescue teams, rushed to the scene after being alerted to a collision involving multiple motorcycles and a car, which left one person dead and several others injured. Upon arrival, authorities found a silver Honda Accord, registered in Kamphaeng Phet, blocking the bridge. The car’s front end was damaged, though the identity of the driver remains undisclosed. Nearby, a blue-black Honda Wave motorcycle with a sidecar used to sell grilled chicken was found overturned. The vehicle’s occupants, Mr. Paramat, 35, and Ms. Supawan, 31, sustained critical injuries and were rushed to Khlong Khlung Hospital for treatment. A short distance away lay another motorcycle, a red-white Honda Wave, also registered in Kamphaeng Phet. Its driver, 35-year-old Mr. Thawatchai, was found dead at the scene. His body bore multiple injuries, with head injuries and broken arms and legs. Debris from the crash was scattered across the bridge. Mr. Thawatchai’s mother, 54-year-old Ms. Boonpeng, arrived at the scene in tears, crying out, “Why didn’t you come home? Why didn’t you listen to me?” before fainting on the road. Rescue workers assisted her, preventing her from approaching her son’s body. Police temporarily closed the bridge to traffic while clearing debris and removing the vehicles involved. Preliminary investigations suggest that Mr. Thawatchai was attempting to overtake the grilled chicken motorcycle but failed to do so in time, colliding head-on with the oncoming Honda Accord. The driver of the car, who sustained minor injuries, was taken to the police station for questioning at Khlong Khlung Police Station. The body of the deceased was sent for autopsy. -- 2025-01-16 -

Netanyahu Praises Biden and Trump for Role in Ceasefire and Hostage Release Agreement
From what I saw about the agreement it's in 3 stages and can easily be halted with a resumption of hostilities. Given that if it gets to the stage of a permanent ceasefire ( stage one is temporary ) netanyahu knows that he has no reason to avoid an election, and he won't be keen on that, as when he is defeated the court cases can proceed. -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
Chonburi Immigration stated 2 days ago at Pattaya Mail that there are no plans to link any visa or visa extension to any tax IDs, or TINs. So just forget that. Won't happen. -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
Can anyone tell me how on earth the act of keeping records can help you avoid an audit? As if they know who is and who isn't keeping records and then they target the ones who aren't keeping records??? -
