RamdomChances
I uesd to fly KLM, BKK to Amsterdam, they used to give free regional flights with a long haul booking, so I could fly straight into Cardiff instead of going to London. Dont know if you can do the same from Ireland, but worth checking.

simey
Don't bother with trailfinders, I tried them in Dublin to get a flight Dublin - BKK. The woman told me that I could only use BA, I suggested Thai but she told me that they did not fly to Bangkok! I used www.worldticketcentre.nl, it's in dutch but allows you to check several airlines at the same time. From Dublin I found it easier to book a ticket to heathrow and then a ticket to BKK separately. The travel section of the sunday times has a lot of discount air fare places in the adverts. simey
A note to the moderators - I'm not sure if we are allowed to post web sites for flights on this forum. If I've broken a rule here let me know and I'll delete the post and make sure I behave in future!
