You must be kidding. Working from home in a complicated country like Thailand? Anywhere else you can call a supplier, supermarket or department store to find out, if/what they have on stock/sale/available. Try this very simple business transaction in Thailand? What a joke - seriously. Maybe the government tries to do something they've been instructed and paid to do; do not treat the symptoms but solve the problem. Drastic financial fines, jail sentences are the answer. The problem in Lalala-Land is always the same - enforce existing rules, regulations and laws. Alternatively forget about the entire government mammoth, stop publishing the royal gazette with new/amended laws, close the courts and just let anarchy overrun whatever is still left to be overrun. Pathetic nonsense; maybe someone kicks a couple of ar*ses connected to government brains .......... -

Will Tesla Cyber trucks be legal in Thailand
I see that the UK is not allowing Cyber trucks on the road at this time and seizing any trucks that have got in to England. As of January 2025, Tesla has showed a Cybertruck in Thailand, at the Tesla Center Ramkhamhaeng in Bangkok from April 6 to 30, 2024, marking its first appearance in the country. Following this, Tesla organized a "Cybertruck TOUR," exhibiting the vehicle at various locations across Thailand between June and September 2024. Wonder what Cyber Truck will need in the way of changes to meet local Thailand requirements. Here is some of the problems that UK has with them: The Tesla Cybertruck is currently not road-legal in the UK due to several safety and regulatory concerns. Greater Manchester Police seized a Cybertruck in Bury after stopping a UK resident driving the vehicle, which was registered and insured abroad. The police highlighted that the Cybertruck lacks a certificate of conformity and expressed concerns about the safety of other road users and pedestrians in the event of a collision. Primary reasons for the Cybertruck's is not legal on UK roads include: Design and Safety Standards: The Cybertruck's sharp, angular design does not comply with UK and European safety regulations, which mandate rounded edges to minimize harm to pedestrians and other road users. Additionally, its substantial size and weight exceed the limits set for standard UK driving licenses, necessitating a Category C1 licence, which many drivers do not possess. Lack of Certification: The vehicle has not undergone the necessary safety tests to obtain a certificate of conformity required for vehicles to be legally driven in the UK. Efforts have been made to modify imported Cybertrucks to meet UK standards. For instance, car customizer Yianni Charalambous imported a Cybertruck and is attempting to legalize it by making necessary modifications, such as adding rubber bumpers to meet safety standards. However, these modifications still face extensive individual vehicle approval (IVA) testing, and the process is both challenging and costly. So Tesla Cybertruck is banned and not legal in the UK primarily due to non-compliance with design and safety regulations and lack of necessary certifications, and issues related to its size and weight. Until these concerns are addressed and the vehicle passes the required safety tests, it remains prohibited on UK roads. but what, I wonder will happen here when it arrives in Thailand. -
