Thai woman arrested for stealing 120,000 baht from Russian man in Pattaya
It is indeed a lot to carry around but maybe the russkie had just arrived in Thailand or was in the process of changing accommodation. Interesting that the victim has a Spanish name, russland has a lot of immigrants of course but most of them are from the former Soviet Union. -

At this stage there is no general requirement to show immigration any Thailand tax information to get an extension of one's permission to stay in Thailand Maybe that will change in the future, maybe it won't. Maybe there will be another tsunami tomorrow that will wipe out all of southern Thailand also. Speculation? Absolutely. Do I think such will happen again? No. Not in my lifetime. But to post with no qualifications that such a (unlikely) requirement will come to pass and not say such is the pure speculation that it is, ... is simply scare mongering. I am 100% in agreeing Thai law should be followed. But I am also 100% against scaremongering based on one's own paranoia. -

Thais Reject Casino Complex and Online Betting Plans Poll Shows
Why is this important, and why are soo many against making something that will benefit the country both financial and regarding employment opportunities? When are the people going to take charge of themselves and make sensible decisions if they should gamble or not. It´s time to stop blame the government and country, by trying to stop them from pushing the country forward. It´s time for all Thais to look at themselves and take control of their lives. -
