Time to End "Pay to Slay" the Palestinian Authority’s Terror Funding Network
In 2007 when Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip from the PA, Israel declared Hamas a hostile entity, then in 2008 facing sustained rocket attacks to their southern settlements, Israel sealed the border. Gaza also shares a border with Egypt, and Egypt sealed its border with Gaza in 2007. I wonder why you didn’t mention Egypt blockading Gaza for the last 18 years, especially as you are “a neutral” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -

The CBR250RR: Is It Worth The Price Tag?
Yep, the CBR250R from the year of the great flood is a solid, reliable bike. As long as you change the oil every 4,000 kilometers, it seems like it will run forever with little to no issues. They’re probably only worth around 20K Baht now, but as you said; never to be sold. I have a friend with a pristine CBR650F, I believe from around 2013. It has fewer than 5,000 km on the clock and looks brand new. He keeps it garaged, covered, and only takes it out 3–4 times a year for short rides. He often talks about selling it because he never uses it, but I doubt he ever will. He changes the fluids and battery every couple of years, but I think he just enjoys knowing it’s there. Maybe if someone made him a great offer, he’d consider it, but I still have my doubts he will ever let it go. -

Fruit and Diabetes
The connection between fruit and diabetes seems like a scam to me. Because most people don't eat that much fruit in the first place. But suddenly, when people are diabetic or pre-diabetic, they are meant to become paranoid of the glycemic index of fruit. I eat several servings of fruit daily, including high glycemic fruit like bananas, pineapple. I don't believe fruit is the culprit in diabetes. I think the medical establishment is off the mark. -

Thailand Celebrates a Day of Clear Skies and Clean Air
Picture courtesy of Bangkok Post Thailand is experiencing a rare day of fresh air as all provinces report low levels of pollution. According to the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA), as of 10am, February 10, the country’s ultrafine dust levels measured between 18.4 and 30.2 micrograms per cubic meter, well below the government safety limit of 37.5. Bangkok, known for its congestion and pollution, enjoyed the cleanest air, with PM2.5 levels dropping significantly. Surrounding areas like Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Pathum Thani, and Samut Sakhon also showed impressively low readings, all under 25 micrograms per cubic meter. Other regions, such as Ayutthaya, Chon Buri, and Phuket, rejoiced under blue skies. Meanwhile, 45 provinces, including Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, recorded moderate air quality but still remained within safe limits. PM2.5, a harmful component of air pollution, includes particles from vehicle exhaust and industrial emissions. These tiny particles can cause serious health problems as they enter deep into the lungs and bloodstream. With Thailand taking a breather from its usual haze, residents hope for more days like this. The big question remains whether cleaner air will become a sustained trend for the Land of Smiles. -- 2025-02-10
