Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the theft of an iPhone from a 17 year old boy, the son of a department director, during a planned transaction near a prominent shopping mall on Rama IV Road.

The incident occurred when the victim, known as A, arranged to sell the iPhone 14 Pro Max, blue in colour, and was subsequently robbed by two individuals. This incident took place in the Khlong Toei district of Bangkok. It was later revealed that the victim is the son of a director at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Yesterday, January 7, investigative officers from Thonglor Police Station have been on the case. They interviewed the victim, who described the suspects as two men and one woman using a motorcycle during the crime.

However, the victim could not recall specific details about the make, model, or colour of the motorcycle. Officers then reviewed CCTV footage from the scene to identify the culprits.

The investigation revealed that the suspects fled the scene on a green-black Honda Click motorcycle without a license plate. They headed towards the Customs Department intersection.

Police searched the area and found the motorcycle parked without a license plate, reported KhaoSod.

Following the discovery, officers conducted surveillance and gathered additional intelligence in the vicinity. Through this process, they identified the individuals involved as Itthiphon and Krisana.

The police then moved in to arrest the suspects and seized the motorcycle used in the escape. The suspects have been taken into custody and are now facing legal proceedings under the law.

Excellent police work...   Would they have been so effective if it were a poorer or unconnected person who had their phone stolen (rhetorical of course).
