A senior Hamas leader, Khalil al-Hayya, proclaimed that Israel had failed to achieve its objectives in Gaza and described a recently announced ceasefire-hostage deal as a “historic moment.” Speaking to the German news agency DPA, al-Hayya stated, “Our people have thwarted the declared and hidden goals of the occupation. Today we prove that the occupation will never defeat our people and their resistance.”

In his remarks, al-Hayya praised the October 7, 2023, attacks that resulted in the deaths of approximately 1,200 Israelis, describing the events as a “military accomplishment” and “a source of pride for our people.” These attacks, characterized by widespread atrocities, were the deadliest massacre of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust. He further declared that the operation would be remembered as a defining moment to be celebrated by future generations of Palestinians.

Al-Hayya, who serves as the deputy chairman of Hamas’s political bureau and the group’s chief negotiator in ceasefire and hostage talks, reiterated Hamas’s commitment to the destruction of Israel. He described Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque as central to their mission, stating, “Our people will expel the occupation from our land and from Jerusalem at the earliest time possible.” He also asserted, “Our enemy will never see a moment of weakness from us.”

The leader extended his praise to Hamas’s allies, including Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi rebels in Yemen, for their coordinated attacks on Israel. He emphasized the solidarity among groups aligned against Israel and underscored the continuing resistance movement.

Hamas remains in possession of two Israeli civilians who entered Gaza in 2014 and 2015, as well as the bodies of two Israeli soldiers killed in 2014.

Despite engaging in negotiations for the ceasefire, al-Hayya insisted that Hamas would not waver in its objectives and celebrated the ceasefire deal as an achievement that reflects their resolve.

Savage? Sure.

But stupid? I don´t know.

Look at Hamas before Oktober 7 and now.

They replaced their lost fighters with new recruits and have the sympathies of much more countries than before, besides Palestinians are seen as the bravest and most resilient people in the world fighting against one of the best trained and equipped (plus backed by the last super power) armies on the planet, with only a few AK 47 and some out of date rockets, while the global reputation of Israel is in free fall not to speak of their economy.

Hamas  are now viewed as cowards who attack women and children and murder innocent people in horrendous ways and then hide in schools and hospitals when it comes to fighting against men .

Inhumane group of people who don't deserve to live among humans .

War criminals , baby abductors , child killers .

No one wants them

It is so fascinating, how different people perceive reality.

May I correct your few spelling mistakes to turn your insights into the way the rest of the world sees it or at least those places who did not sell their humanity to AIPAC:

Israelis/IDF   Hamas  are now viewed as cowards who attack women and children (by shots in the head and chest according to UN reports) and murder innocent people in horrendous ways ( by raping them to death in prisons according to UN reports ) and then bomb hide in schools and hospitals instead of when it comes to fighting against men .

Inhumane group of people who don't deserve to live among humans .

War criminals (according to ICG) , baby abductors , child killers (ask Hind Rajab) .

A lot of people like some bar owners in Thailand don`t want them. In countries which still believe in the ICG and their fundamental values they are actually wanted No one wants them

Now seriously, let us put all the polemic aside and just for once talk to each other like mature and educated people:

and let us forget all those mind games and cynical discussions, if it is a genocide or not (as if it would make any difference to those who died no matter on which side) or if 100,000 people were killed or only 30,000 as if there is a number, with which we all would be OK.

You condemn Hamas and what they did on October 7, and you know what, who wouldn't? Which human being with a little compassion would not condemn those atrocities done to innocent people whose only “crime” was, that they wanted to have a good time?

But then you have to condemn the actions of the IDF in Gaza, killing 10s of thousands of people, most of them women and children, destroying the whole area, every building, hospital, school and intentionally shooting children in the head or in the chest or killing Hind Rajab, who had survived the killing of her relatives among whose dead bodies she was hiding in that car, calling her mother, begging her to come and take her away and at the same time killing those two rescue helpers, whose only crime was that they came to save a child. You also have to condemn the killing of people in the West Bank and stealing of their land.

Please explain this to me, how can one condemn the atrocities of one side and applaud to the much longer lasting and more devastating  atrocities of the other. What kind of justice or moral is that, when one rightfully condemns the killing of teenagers and children on October 7 but at the same time has no problem with the death of 15,000 children, many of them by direct and intentional shots which makes it impossible to declare them as human Shields?

To me, every person who somehow feels a selective justice condemning the murder of one people but applauding to the murder of another people has lost his humanity and therefore is a “Inhumane who don't deserve to live among humans“.

Because this is exactly the mindset of the Nazis, seeing themselves as superior and Jewish people as subhumans.

And those people with the same mindset, who raise one people and their rights to exist above another people are the reincarnation of Nazis.

And tragically they don't even realize it, they actually think their mindset is just and see themselves as educated and open minded people.

Just like Adolf.
