Imagine how many millions would be lost every year to the cosmetic industry if people were just comfortable in their own skin.

If you look like what you aren't (think of what 'she' looks like when she's just waking up... no makeup... and then the amazing transformation!)

If you smell like what you aren't (actually, the pheromones our bodies produce 'should' be enough to get a mate. If not, you're not mating material according to Mother Nature.)
Perhaps the reason one has to pay to get laid is that girls really don't like the smell of all those chemicals.
 

Most body odor comes from bacteria breeding in your sweat. One or two showers a day with 'real' soap, (not the chemical concoctions most body washes contain,) eliminates that and there won't be any offensive smell.

Jeez! I thought that April first had come early.

 

Of course it's a big leg-pull. Everyone here in Thailand, at least in Isaan, knows it matters not what sweety-pie fragrance you smell of for getting the ladies. Best thing is to smell like nature intended us to. All this chemical stink is not even in the race.

 

Of course; a bit of dosh helps. And the trick of getting the ladies, is to look at her lips when she is talking, and when you talk, look into her eyes.

 

Seems to me, that that many farang here, need educating on what Thai ladies really want. Nivia for men! Dear me!

Sorry, I won't try to prove anything with links to scientific studies.

Admittedly, many of my resources are lunatic fringe crackpots.

 

Not everything in nature is good for you. Some mushrooms can kill you.

But I'm not convinced that any chemicals concocted in a lab are not bad for you either. 

 

I don't eat lab grown meat.

I don't even wear synthetic clothing anymore. Has to be cotton.

That's how I roll.

Yes.

Choose cotton, and, most likely, Mennen and similar articles will be less needed, or not needed at all.

Synthetic fibers are not suitable for clothing.

(products such as GorTex excepted, maybe, and other outerwear materials)

 

Obviously, once people switched to wearing synthetic fibers, the Mennen-type products went through the roof, at least in the USA, and maybe Canada.  Doubt they care in Mexico, however.

 

 

 

Also, it's my view that the more you use (deodorant), the more you must use, and the more you stink.

Just another reason why I stopped using it (other than to sniff), back around 1982.

And, we definitely need a GRAPH showing fragrance and deodorant usage from just before the Depression Era, until Present.

I just wonder how many hobos were wandering around spritzing perfume under their arms, and maybe other places.

 

Meanwhile:  My best word of advice is to WEAR COTTON.  Shower Daily (two times better), Don't use Mennen, or any similar deodorant product, other than to sniff, and....MOST IMPORTANTLY:  Stay away from others who do not follow these rules.

 

ALSO: The more you use, of any deodorant product, the more you stink. So let this be a word to the wise.

On Amazon, I found that they do not ship this to Thailand, for some unknown reason; maybe due to cultural reasons or the fact that Mennen helps get one up for the morning, and maybe Thai culture is just typically slower-paced, in the AM?

 

Maybe if more guys in Thailand were to get on the stick, then things might actually get ACCOMPLISHED around here, meaning things like solving the annual smoke problem and PM2.5 overload.

Also, it is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant, so it doesn't clog pores nor stain shirts. One doesn't lather it on, but rather just a quick swipe.

 

As for those saying they don't exude anything unpleasant ever....one gets enured to one's own emanations; others do not. Best to "air" (sic) on the side of caution, when in polite company.

 

Natural scent as nature intended? Tell that to Coco Chanel, Estee Lauder, Dior, etc., who made fortunes helping women attract both wanted and unwanted attention. If it's good enough for the goose, etc. Personally, a quick swipe is my only affectation and only departure from my state of nature; I do not ever wear cologne.

 

We all pick our poison...what we eat and drink, what products we use, if we venture into the sun, fly at FL400 and catch gamma radiation, dare to breathe in Thailand, reside in a home above ground filled with radon, etc. I've decided a quick swipe is a poison I'm willing to risk. It seems to have benefits.

That is the point.

The Mennen fragrance in this product is more subtle than being anything else.

This is why it is preferable...IMHO.

In that respect, women are stupid. Nature saw to it that they have all the tools, and goodies, needed to attract men. Don't need no extra stick or smell.

 

As for men!! If they could only understand, that the adult female has a natural bio-rhythm, and that can be tapped into, for free, they would never be short of a woman ever again.
