I dont see any insult there, just a person asking the same questions as others have.

Common decency says you don't open your fat gob to assign blame to whoever you fancy, for political purposes, when the bodies of the victims are not even cold.

Trump has no decency, neither do some of the posters on this thread

Expand

Poster talks about decency. Then instantly insults with response.

Classic.

Its never a good idea to post late at night after an evening on the the sauce.

I'm glad he asked the question, sometimes it takes a person of authority to raise an issue so others take stock.

Of course, if someone from the Dems were asking it I'm sure you would be applauding.

Right. It was a great time to raise the question. Nothing like smearing the dead.

As for what you are sure about what I would do, confine your personal comments to yourself. You've got nothing.

A good display of having nothing is when you resort to nastiness such as your reply. But we are getting used to you bitterness slowly.

Goodness me, three posts in response to one of mine.

Who is living rent-free in your head?

It was you who made the personal comment. An empty allegation of what I  would do. I called you out on that. Not surprising that instead of accepting the deserved reproach, you call it nastiness.

I only insult people who have insulted me first.

In your case, you insult my intelligence.

I regret I cannot reciprocate.

I really do enjoy reading your posts, reminds me how lucky I am to have a normal happy life with warm friends, rather than spend my twilight years getting angry and banging out hatred on a keyboard all day. What a sad existence.

I agree, it would be a sad existence if what you are asserting is true.

There is a difference between getting angry , and not suffering fools gladly.

As for banging out hatred, what did you just post?

I trust you continue to enjoy my posts, IMO they are much more creative than yours.

Summed up nicely, in your opinion… not in others of course though.

im off, better things to do than engage with you. Enjoy your day on your keyboard!

AFAIK the only thing wrong with me is having the temerity to post facts, data and opinions, which offend a tribe of posters who hate having their delusions exposed.

I Don't get some of the Trump haters an I am from the UK.

In his last term he cut corporate tax stimulating investment and creating jobs bringing a record low unemployment rate, the stock-market also had record highs, deregulated 'stuff' stimulating trade.  Reduced border crossings, got other countries to increase their NATO spending saving the US money and got the Covid vaccines out faster than most other countries.

Why do some Americans still not like him apart from I guess he can be a little abrasive and divisive but is that not worth it for the benefits he provides?

Er - Biden had the stock market at record levels, and unemployment at record lows.

Trump's trade war with China in his last term was a disaster for American farmers, who lost one of their biggest markets when China retaliated.

IIRC it was an interview with Bob Woodward where Trump admitted he has downplayed the COVID pandemic in favor of the economy.

At 1.1 million deaths, America had the highest number of deaths from COVID in the world. Excluding China, who doesn't publish any data.

The first available vaccines in Thailand were Sinovac and AZ, American vaccines came later with a hefty price tag for the average Thai.

A better question to ask is why Americans like Trump. It does say something about their character.

Hehe OK fair point  don't really know enough about it being from the UK to argue about it so you win 🙂

I just like his immigration policies especially when he talks about shooting illegal immigrants in the legs!

I don't have any problem with deporting immigrants who are criminals, or are taking advantage of more generous social welfare.

Having said that , I don't see any point in demonizing them.

40% of farm workers in America are undocumented. Deport them all, and the cost of the produce on supermarket shelves automatically goes up.

IMO that looks awfully like the US is shooting itself in the foot, in the name of policy, or ideology.

If you can even find workers to replace them. More likely is that imports will have to increase to accommodate demand.

The price goes up because the farmer has to pay more. What do you have against higher wages for the working poor?

Eliminate corporate income taxes and prices come down, so do you agree we should eliminate corporate income taxes?

So with the increased imports comes increased tariff revenue, yes?

And increased costs for consumers? Or do you agree with Trump that it will be the exporting nation that pays?

Provided the farmer can find workers. Field labor is backbreaking work. Dairy farming requires very long days of labor in isolated circumstances.

First off, who is going to make up for the lost revenue from corporations? Santa Claus? Why not the reverse? Eliminate taxes on individuals and impose them all on businesses?

In addition you make the implicit assumption that corporations will lower prices in accordance with how much tax relief corporations are granted. The fact is that there's a lot less competition in American than there used to be thanks to lax enforcement of antitrust.

I worked putting up hay and picking oranges, I know what it is. You?

Over half the people doing those jobs now are US citizens. Paying more would make it more attractive.

Ya think Trump and company want to make those people U.S. citizens?
