Best place to watch others
Is it really that interesting to watch random people? Sometimes I sit with a friend somewhere and something interesting happens nearby and maybe one of us sees it and says: Look over there. And then maybe we agree she looks great or that guy is a total idiot or whatever and then we continue with our conversation. I never intentionally sat somewhere alone to watch people. Is that something exiting which I missed? -

Should income for visa 800K (retired) or 400K (married) not be taxable?
Pensions are well documented in the Australia / Thailand DTA. Article 18 and Article 19 specifically set out the rules between the two countries regarding pensions. Government service pensions are covered by the DTA. The aged pension welfare payment is not covered by the DTA. Both are deemed to be an "income" at Australian tax law. -

Finally! My new EV 😅
Currently have it charging in the driveway, with the included slow charger but at least I know that one works! one thing I can’t figure out is how to find the QR code to link to the byd app for my iPhone?? oh and an annoying thing is I can’t open the windows for 7 days……apparently have to wait for the film tint to set. I had to open my door to get into my village and then I couldn’t get the car going - think it automatically goes into park when you open the door. That opening the door to get tickets form parkings etc will be annoying for the next 7 days….😡 -

Organised crime is a) far more difficult to police than drunken idiots. b) far more lucrative in terms of payoffs. I think it is beyond the local police. You would need a national bureau with officers dedicated to Chinese organised crime. The local police will simply decide it is too time-consuming, too hard to get a result and will just accept the payoffs. -

The seat hurt my bum. Who's fault was it?
Where did he moan about adding any cost to the meter? He moaned about them doing it on his time, not his dime. If it's a long journey then it might be necessary to fill up or take a wazz. If it's not, they should do it in their own time and not during a fare.
