Before calcivirus, when I ordered a chicken chow mein, it was short odds I was getting rabbit instead. But you're right, it's no country for old men. I am fine with rabbit stew. Chicken is good. Rabbit is also good.

I can even envision myself, out on the outback, corned-Kangaroo tail in hand. Gazing at the firmament. In pig heaven. I don't need much company. I just need a super-fast internet, and a dentist, once in a while. I am very suited to outback life. Or, almost anywhere like that, that doesn't have CM air traffic rattling my windows, 18-hours of the day.

In the capital cities and suburbs. Where I used to camp, I got ABC broadcasts at 6 pm. The nearest landline phone was 20 km away, at a homestead. The lousy internet in Australia is courtesy of a conservative government, who thought they could save money by relying on an ageing copper network. It's cost more instead.

Doubt they would use a B777 or B787 for the ICN to CNX route? Flew in their old garbage A330 business class from Hong Kong to ICN on Monday so they are still using older planes on "premium" routes. Flew their 787-10 ICN to Taipei yesterday, much better experience.

I do not like, nor can I abide living in; places with slow, or even moderately fast, internet. I must have SUPER-FAST at very low cost. There is no other way for a country, a family, an individual, to improve without BLAZING FAST internet. We need vid conferencing (for education, etc...). And, we need it at ZERO cost. This is the only way. Anything less is SUPER-shortsightedness.
