Do I need a TM30?

I’m a Brit here in Bangkok on a Visa free entry for 60 days. I want to extend at Lake Si. Do I need to take a TM30 and how do I get it?

Regarding the TM.30, ask the hotel where you are staying for a copy of immigration's receipt of the hotel's notification of your arrival.

You will require a TM30. 

Ask hotel where you are staying to print one for you (simple ) 

At Lak Si the document check girls will most likely send you away without TM30.
