Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in the U.S. on Thursday, February 20, former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss urged Elon Musk and his dedicated followers—whom she referred to as his “nerd army of Muskrats”—to take a closer look at what she called the “British deep state.”  

 

Truss, who holds the record as Britain’s shortest-serving prime minister after a tenure of less than 50 days, used her speech to launch a scathing critique of the UK, suggesting that the country is stuck in the past. “We want a Trump revolution in Britain, we want to flood the zone,” she told the American audience, praising both former U.S. President Donald Trump and Musk, the billionaire owner of X.

Her remarks at CPAC followed similar claims she made during last year’s event, where she alleged that her attempts to introduce tax cuts had been deliberately undermined. At the time, she argued that her economic policies had been “sabotaged” by what she called “the administrative state and the deep state.”  

 

Truss’s speech underscored her continued belief that unelected forces within the UK government played a role in derailing her agenda. By appealing to Musk’s followers, she seemed to suggest that external scrutiny—perhaps even from figures outside Britain—was necessary to expose what she perceives as institutional resistance to reform.

Truss was high on the list if not number 1 as the worst Prime Minister's the Uk has ever had. In the short time she was in charge, about 49 days, she managed to ruin the `UK economy and since her expulsion she has ranted on about the way she was treated and has since gone to the far right extreme of politics. I agree that what she is doing now is a matter of treason and yes she should be arrested and placed in the Tower of London for the rest of her days. Stupid, stupid woman.

Truss is a sad and desperate fool. She was given the opportunity to lead the country and completely screwed up, so badly that she had to step down. Now she is trying to reinvent herself as a UK MAGA loon … there is no bandwagon this sad incompetent won’t jump on.

There is no credible evidence to support the conspiracy theory you spread that the "Deep State" was involved in Liz Truss's removal as Prime Minister. Her resignation was largely attributed to her own policy decisions, particularly the controversial mini-budget, which sparked widespread criticism and market turmoil. Financial markets, which reacted negatively to the mini-budget. Financial markets are not Deep State.
