Doesnt mean I believe in the death sentence though. I believe she should be deported back home . 

If she's one and the same as this person (name and age match) then she has a long history of ignoring the law and caring little for consequences of getting caught - bang her up here for a few years and then deport back to US.

Singapore recently reduce the penalty for drug traffickers(inacted in 2012, enforced in Jan.2023).

But with  Methamphetamine over 250g, still Death Penalty may apply.
