Residence Garden. Nova Park?

Read the views for Nova Park on Google Maps. Very entertaining for the reader, not so much for the people who stayed there!

Opey de place on Soi Lengke

More than you quoted but you did say "someplace that they have had a good experience with."

I'm here for 2 months as I am most years..... negotiate a monthly rate which varies around 31000 a month.

UPDATE

I see the MORON who is confused by the simplest little thing is back. You really are the stupidest person I've ever had the misfortune to encounter🤬

I certainly haven't clicked on any emoticon, but I guess some people might think that 31k is a bit much for a 32sq.m room in a 3* hotel in a less than picturesque area.

Of course if you are in Pattaya for the nightlife and want to be in the centre of that, you may wish to pay a premium for that. But to break the budget for it seems a step too far.

For that standard, I would expect to pay half that price.

Someone mentioned Yensabai Condotel, which is indeed around 15k or less monthly for a 40 sq.m. room.

Another example, Diamond City Place: https://www.renthub.in.th/en/diamond-city-place-south-pattaya Quoted from 7.8 to 15.8k per month.

Why on earth would someone choose to pay double and think they negotiated a great bargain?

It's fine if the location is right for you, but let's not pretend that it is great value for money as a monthly rate.

All valid but in my case I'm not breaking my budget and it is the location and pool that is attractive.

One of these "up to you" situations I suppose.

Not your budget, but the budget quoted by the OP.

I guess it might have been helpful for the OP to describe what they see as a 'reasonable location'.

Personally, I would not want to stay in the central area with no view. I think a pool is standard most everywhere.

So in effect, you are paying to be on Soi Leng Kee, which is fine if you want to be there.

Especially since Opey only 1000 baht a night on Agoda. So that's actually not a discount at all.

Also stayed in this hotel every now and then, though not monthly. I recall they did not have monthly discount rate.

But the hotel was absolutely excellent for the money. Can recommend to anyone - however I recall they presumably had a policy that you should not change girlfriend every night, not sure though as I had a long rent at the time and that was fine.

It gets glowing reviews. I think I'll try this next time I'm in Pattaya

It's a hidden gem...now that I am living here can share to others... Unbeatable value.

Only advise I can give is that if you prefer soft bed like I do, need to ask if could get room with one as ome rooms have firmer ones and some quality soft ones.
