What is an inexpensive phone that can be set up to use an eSIM?  My Samsung A34 doesn't have that capability. Looking for options.

If you're looking for an inexpensive phone that supports eSIM, the Google Pixel 6a is a great option. It’s budget-friendly, offers excellent performance, and fully supports eSIM functionality. Another good choice is the iPhone SE (2022), which is compact, affordable, and also supports eSIM. Both of these devices are widely available and work well with eSIM providers.

For eSIM services, I highly recommend checking out Esim Plus. They offer a wide range of eSIM plans for over 190 countries, with affordable data packages and easy activation. Their app makes it simple to set up and manage your eSIM, and they often have great deals for travelers or those looking for flexible data plans. It’s one of the best eSIM providers out there, so it’s worth considering if you’re switching to an eSIM-compatible phone.

You can transfer an esim to a special SIM card and then use it in most phones that don't support esims natively by simply putting the special SIM card in the standard SIM slot of the phone.

For example 5ber:

Then via a special app from 5ber you can activate different esim profiles on the card.

There are usually two versions of this card: one with limited changes allowed and thereafter you need to pay for changes and another with unlimited changes allowed for free.
