Passport renewal.. Track prepaid delivery

I sent my USA passport for renewal exactly as requested. I bought prepaid delivery from the Thailand office. They emailed me a 'THP2025...' number.

 

Two weeks after sending my old passport for renewal, I received an email stating, 'The U.S. Department of State has mailed your passport book on 02/26/2025. We sent your passport book to you using prepaid delivery.'

 

How do I track this prepaid delivery? I cannot use that THP number. I did not receive any tracking number by email.

When I did mine two years ago, I received a similar "We sent your passport ..." about a week and a half before I actually received it.    I don't know what the "Thp" number is.Thai EMS tracking is usually 2 letters followed by 9 letters and ends with TH.

I got an email like that.  Then I got a call from US Consulate in Chiang Mai saying they had my new pp and asking if I wanted to pick it up or have them mail it to me.

 

So you might ask the Consulate

The tracking never worked.  But on the plus side, I did get the passport in about 3 weeks. And I got a letter like other when they sent it back.
