Police and rescue workers were called to the south Pattaya Road intersection with Pattaya Third Road in the early hours of Wednesday Morning after reports of a road accident leaving a foreign motorbike driver injured were received. At the scene, Rescue Workers dealt with Mr. Anthony Bullen aged 56 from USA who sustained a broken leg. He explained that he stopped his bike at the Red Traffic Light and was rear-ended by a pick-up which failed to notice the red light. The pick-up failed to stop at the scene. No descriptions of the pick-up were given to Police leaving them with no chance of finding the pick-up and driver.

It's kinda weird reading this story now because a few days ago I stopped (motorcycle) at a red light at the very same intersection when the car behind me nudged me. No damage, but I do always try to keep out of the way of Thais driving cars. I probably spend as much time looking through my rear view mirrors as looking ahead.
