In watching the video, there was some excessive force in the beginning by what I would call "western standards".  Not sure if that is considered excessive force under Thai Law for police officers in Thailand.  Of course, there is a lot leading up to the incident that was not on video.  

The video seems misleading as to there was nothing visible to give reason for the officers to even hit the man once, let alone many times after he was subdued. In the video it looks like police abusing their authority by violently attacking the man, which we all know would never happen in Thailand haha..
