July 18, 200421 yr Hi, I'm here with my partner of 5 years and our toddler. He is getting his work permit but I was told that I cannot apply for the family visa since we are not married (niether of us is Thai). I heard that some farang girl got a fiance visa. Does anybody ever heard of it? I need help, right now I'm here on a multiple entry tourist visa. Thanks everybody

July 20, 200421 yr Author Dr. Pat Pong I know for a fact that some french couple did it, the girfriend got some concubine certificate from the French embassy or something like that and she got it. Would anyone know how this goes?
July 20, 200421 yr Thai law does not recognize de facto relationships at all. So there's no misunderstanding Thai law DOES NOT recognize de facto ( common law ) marriage.
