New UK Parliament Report: Unveiling the Horrors of 7 October A Truth That Cannot Be Denied
I saw a lot of the graphic videos from Oct 7th. The murder of innocent civilians, elderly, woman, even children. They massacred a group of Thai foreign workers that day. Before Oct 7th I never would take a side between Israel and Hamas and still don't really want to but after seeing the videos i can understand everything Israel has done in the aftermath. It's impossible to live next to that kind of hatred, it has to be eliminated. If Israel wiped out every living being in Gaza i would say they had it coming after what i saw on Oct 7th. -

Man Dies on His Birthday in High-Speed Motorbike Crash
Pictures from responders. A 42-year-old man was killed in a motorbike crash on an overpass in Nonthaburi in the early hours of his birthday, on 21 March. The victim, riding a high-speed Kawasaki big bike, lost control on a curve, collided with the bridge barrier, and was thrown 10 metres onto the ground below. At approximately 02:00, officers from Chaiyapruek Police Station, along with emergency rescue teams from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation, responded to reports of a motorbike crash on the Chaiyapruek–Ratchaphruek overpass in Pak Kret district, Nonthaburi. Upon arrival, they found the lifeless body of Mr. Seksan 42, lying face down on the grassed area beneath the overpass. His green Kawasaki big bike, which bore no licence plate, was discovered resting against the barrier at the top of the curve. A damaged metal signpost, dislodged from the impact, was also found nearby. A closer inspection of Seksan’s ID card revealed that 21 March 1983 was his date of birthday, he died on his 42nd birthday. A 59-year-old taxi driver, Mr. Pisuth, recounted the moments leading up to the crash. He stated that he was driving along the overpass when his vehicle suddenly ran over a helmet lying on the road, causing him to stop. Spotting the damaged motorbike against the railing, he looked around but did not see the rider. Upon further inspection, he noticed the victim’s body lying motionless below the bridge. The taxi driver also mentioned that just moments earlier, the motorbike had overtaken him at high speed before disappearing into the distance. Authorities believe that the victim was travelling at excessive speed when he lost control on the curve. The bike collided with the barrier, causing Seksan to be thrown against a signpost before plunging 10 metres to his death. Police will review CCTV footage from the area to confirm the sequence of events. The body has been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, while investigators continue their inquiries. -- 2025-03-21 -

English Name of the agricultural bank, reposessed land
This is interesting because my tgf owes that bank over a half mil baht for a loan on farm land she bought (though she has this dream that some day it will have a commercial use, the odds of which I have no idea). -

American Mechanic Freed After Two Years in Taliban Custody 'President Trump — amazing'
After spending more than two years detained in Afghanistan, American airline mechanic George Glezmann has finally been released by the Taliban. Glezmann, who was taken into custody in December 2022 while visiting the country as a tourist, landed in Qatar on Thursday evening before continuing his journey back to the United States. "President Trump — amazing. Thank God he's in the White House where he's at and thank God he got me out." His release was confirmed following a meeting in Kabul between the Taliban government’s foreign minister and a US delegation led by Adam Boehler, the US hostage envoy. Also present was Zalmay Khalilzad, the former US envoy to Kabul. This marked the highest-level direct talks between the two governments since President Donald Trump’s inauguration in January. The Taliban’s foreign ministry stated that Glezmann’s release was granted "on humanitarian grounds" and as "a goodwill gesture." US Secretary of State Marco Rubio welcomed the outcome, calling it "a positive and constructive step." Since the Taliban regained power in 2021, official contact between the two governments has typically taken place outside Afghanistan. However, Qatar played a crucial role in facilitating the negotiations that secured Glezmann’s freedom. Afghanistan’s foreign ministry emphasized in a statement on X that the agreement demonstrated the country’s willingness to engage "all sides, particularly the United States of America, on the basis of mutual respect and interests." Glezmann, a 65-year-old mechanic for Delta Air Lines, is now on his way to being reunited with his wife, Aleksandra. Rubio expressed gratitude to Qatar for its "instrumental" role in ensuring his safe return. Photographs taken at Kabul airport show Glezmann before his departure, accompanied by Boehler, Khalilzad, and Qatari officials. While in captivity, he was able to maintain only "periodic and limited telephone contact" with his wife, according to the James Foley Foundation, which tracks cases of Americans detained overseas. His return marks a rare instance of direct diplomatic success between the US and the Taliban, offering a glimpse of potential future engagements despite the complex relationship between the two governments.
