Well, 81 million voters were wrong....that's how Biden was elected.

So yeah, 77 million voters can be wrong.  And they were.

Yes, I guess some countries are just not ready to handle democracy.

The right way to deal with a bully is a good smack in the mouth.

Trump would look extremely stupid if Canada cuts off all electricity to the north-eastern seaboard, or halts oil supply.

As it is, it's slapping tariffs on both. Higher cost power and gasoline for Americans.

Cut off electric? Bwwwwhahahahahah.

Another one who doesnt think tariffs should be equal.

Typical fascist move to grab total power. There was no such "emergency" in reality.

Your lot should be suing then,

Back when tariffs were a good thing? Is it possible tariffs are in fact needed to balance the trade defecit and bring back jobs to the US, but the hiveminds irrational hatred causes them to get hysterical when tariffs are imposed? Like they get hysterical about every single thing 45/47 does?

Either way this is another embarrassment to them having their hypocrisy and lack of logic thrown back at them.

Its their Orwell world

The Military is bad unless its their enemy

Abolish the Filibuster, oops not yet.

Tariffs are bad unless they want them

All demonstrations are mostly peaceful

No one is above the Law except them

No wonder they lost

Trump stated that the tariffs are authorized under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (“IEEPA”):

President Trump is invoking his authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA) to address the national emergency posed by the large and persistent trade deficit that is driven by the absence of reciprocity in our trade relationships and other harmful policies like currency manipulation and exorbitant value-added taxes (VAT) perpetuated by other countries.

The IEEPA does not authorize tariffs.

NB The Pensacola IEEPA tariff case has been assigned to US District Judge Kent Wetherell, a Trump appointee who previously issued a ruling halting a key component of President Joe Biden’s immigration policy in 2023.

Nike 'Won't Build Factories' In US, They Will Sell To Countries Like China

Economist Peter Schiff warned on Thursday that Nike Inc. (NYSE:NKE) won’t shift production to the United States despite newly imposed tariffs, predicting higher prices and reduced domestic sales for the footwear giant.

What Happened: “Nike won’t build factories in the U.S. to make sneakers. That would add more cost than the 40% tariffs,” Schiff wrote on X. “The result will be fewer sneakers sold in the U.S. at much higher prices.”

Aha, I see an opening for a domestic (US) brand of "sneakers". Perhaps some really glitzy gold ones with a presidential endorsement?

Ah, hang on, aren't they made in China?

Herein lies the rub, Trump is not a particularly smart man but he's an absolute genius when it comes to being a huckster and using Marxist style propaganda to demonize the enemy, and convince people he is not the man that Republicans think he is.

Time will bear this out, there is going to be massive disappointment and a lot of tears.

I think actually, herein lies the rub.  Trump actually said on Fox that he want's to start deporting US citizens.  That's IS over the top. If he goes down this path he'll lose his base.
