You are right. The economy was doing well. Yet Trumpists in this forum  have been claiming that the economy is heading for a recession because of the cyclical nature of the economy. That was to forestall assigning the cause of the possible recession to Trump. Anyway, the first quarter of the year wouldn't have been affected much if at all by what Trump has done. Let's wait and see what the 2nd quarter looks like. And if it looks bad, the Trumpists will once again claim it's just part of the business cycle.

It's still down from when he took off.  So does that mean he's winning ... 

 

 

My SS DD @ BBL ... and all that matters to me, until Oct when COLA comes out.

I know and expect the USD/THB to fluctuate 10-15%, fairly often, so not surprises there.

 

Guessing that's the same for most people.  With exception of China, I don't think I buy any imported products.  Maybe from ASEAN countries, if that.

 

Surely no sub standard, overpriced items from the USA.

 

Haven't been in the 'markets' for almost 20 yrs.  Same as most people, I think.

 

Just a bunch of silly headlines & threads that don't have any effect on most people, except for aggravating the mental health of some ill people.
