Google "chevron signs" on your own please. I just come back from a 40 km roundtrip. These signs are everywhere on the highways and ours point where they should. https://www.roadtrafficsigns.com/chevron-road-signs
April 27, 20251 yr Talk about incorrect signage. 200 metres from our local school, and schools in other places, there is 30 on a blue background ie Minimum Speed. 100 meters later they are correct.

April 28, 20251 yr Author Ok, so, to you guys who are trying to convince the saner people on this forum that right means left and vice versa, take a look at the photo below. It was taken by me at the "roundabout" at the southern end of Patong beach road, Phuket, in 2020. I challenge you to argue that there is nothing wrong with the signage! I have since looked at the location on Google maps and, am pleased to notice that the ridiculously confusing arrows/chevrons have been removed.

April 28, 20251 yr To me it looks like some drunken wag has gone along the road and twisted the signs through 180 degrees and I've thought that from the beginning. But this being Thailand, maybe the sign installers had just run out of left chevrons. We're in the land of smiles.

Of course there is something wrong, and since it is from Phuket, where they mostly drive on the left, it actually is not the chevrons.
